Glow wire test apparatus
An element is heated to a certain temperature in order to conduct a glow wire test. The glow wire is the term used to describe the heated element. The test area in the specimen shall be the area where the thickness is minimal.
Glow wire tester shall also be used for test of plastic pellets or raw material by preparing as specimen material molded or extruded with the minimum thickness for test.
